I’ve been attending Jo’s class in excess of 2 years now and could not recommend the class highly enough. Pilates is a challenging form of exercise, however, the benefits easily outweigh the effort required.
Jo has created a wonderfully welcoming and friendly place to practice Pilates. I love going every week.
I have done Pilates for a number of years in various locations and Jo is one of the best teachers I’ve experienced. I love the ambience in the classes and the way she facilitates a very good work-out whilst making it fun. Highly recommended.
On the way home I was really aware of my posture and it felt good to be “aligned”. If you haven’t done it before, give it a go! Jo is a delight, she has a great studio, and it’s so central - and if you go, say hello to Mylo, the best wee mascot...
The studio itself was exceptionally impressive and had a light, refreshing atmosphere complimented by high ceilings and contemporary decor. (Sweaty school gymnasiums and aerobics classes in the local village hall should take numerous leaves out of this professionally styled book.)
I would recommend Pilates in general, but especially The Pilates Attic, for both an experienced friendly teacher and beautiful surroundings. It is reasonably priced, with professionalism and charm thrown in for free
I’ve been a fan of Pilates for over 20 years now and Jo is a really great instructor. She works you at a pace that challenges but isn’t unrealistic. I always bounce down Hanover Street after one of her classes.
I love it so much, and it has made such a difference in my life, that I take 4 classes a week. Jo is a wonderful teacher and coach and her classes have such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
By the end of the session I felt like I had had a proper work out, I really could feel it. I also felt totally relaxed, de-stressed and energized - Jo, you’re a miracle worker!
